The Parish Council have received a planning application forThe Old Pumphouse- Stamford Road- Weekley Orangery to rear
Weekley whackers, the village team, played in the Rounders Tournament organised by Weekley and Warkton Cricket Club, 5 other teams participated and the Whackers were triumphant and carried away the first prize of a cricket bat. The team, made up of adults and children, was well supported by several villagers, and everyone enjoyed a barbecue at the Cricket Club. Looking forward to defending the title next year!
The Annual return is due to be submitted to BDO, this includes an Annual Governance statement, Accounting statements for financial year 2016/2017 and the internal auditors report. Copies of these are found on the Financial information page.
Under the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 (Accounts and Audit regulations 2015 SI2015/234) any person interested has the right to inspect the accounting records held by the RFO (clerk)
This inspection period runs from the 12th June 2017- 21st July 2017 and the official notification and information will be on Weekley parish council notice Board on the Green near the bus stop
Annual Parish Meeting of Weekley
Tuesday 16th May 2017 at 7pm
All residents are welcome to attend this meeting at Weekley Village Hall where organisations within the village will report on their activities during the year.

This year Greenbelt Festival is making 200 adult weekend tickets available for free to people in the neighbouring parishes, on a first come first served basis. I would appreciate you sharing the information below locally to enable those from your parish to benefit. The tickets will be available from 1st June, and based on last year will go very quickly. They usually cost £165.
Local parishioners can have up to a maximum of 4 free adult tickets. They will be charged for any children/young peoples tickets they select but can have as many free infant (under 5s) tickets as they require. The 2017 Greenbelt festival runs from 25th – 28th August at Boughton House.

On that page there is a box for entering promotional codes. If they enter gb17tcgvillage in the box then it will display a new ticket type, called Local Weekend Ticket. They can select up to four of these for free, add in any child/youth tickets they require and confirm their booking.
